Don’t Tap The Glass is Tyler’s ninth studio album, released as a semi-surprise project on July 21, 2025. Dropping less than a year after Chromakopia, this lean, 10-track album runs just under 30 minutes and debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 chart.

Unlike the deeply introspective and narrative-heavy nature of Chromakopia, Tyler stated that Don’t Tap The Glass was made to get people dancing and moving. The project leans into high-energy, performance-driven sounds, blending hip-hop with prominent influences from 1980s synth-rock, funk, and dance-pop heavily inspired by The Neptunes.
