After nearly three decades, Sublime release a new album in 2026 — Until The Sun Explodes, with Jakob Nowell (Vocals, Guitar) as frontman. Nowell, the son of former frontman Bradley Nowell (who died of a heroin overdose in 1996), joined with Eric Wilson (Bass) and Bud Gaugh (Drums) to reunite Sublime in 2023. Featuring collaborations with H.R. of Bad Brains, Fletcher Dragge of Pennywise, G Love and more, the album stays rooted in the band’s classic sound while opening a new chapter. However, the band states that this will be their final album as Sublime.
