Jack Johnson — In Between Dreams

Johnson’s third studio album features the hit single, “Sitting, Waiting, Wishing,” as well as “Good People” and “Breakdown.” Originally released in 2005, the double-platinum album reached #2 on the US Billboard 200 chart. The album cover depicts a mango tree, referring to the Mango Tree, the studio where In Between Dreams was recorded. There is also a reference to the mango tree in the song, “Better Together.”

Singer/songwriter Johnson writes songs that just feel good, sticking to an equation that combines his warm, relaxed voice with an acoustic guitar. The cozy formula has made him a favorite among college students, so it’s no surprise that he continues with what he does best.
