The sophomore album from Fleet Foxes draws inspiration from folk/rock from about 1965 to 1973, and Van Morrison’s Astral Weeks in particular. The band added instrumentation (everything from clarinet to Tibetan singing bowls) and an emphasis on group vocal harmonies.
