They spawned cult-classic records that would become a \u003cstrong\u003egoldmine for hip hop breaks\u003c\/strong\u003e and attain \u003cstrong\u003esampling immortality\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/em\u003e.  \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e'Apache', which was made famous by the British band The Shadows, is legendary in the worlds of dance music and hip hop. It was a staple for DJs such as \u003cstrong\u003eKool Herc\u003c\/strong\u003e and \u003cstrong\u003eGrandmaster Flash\u003c\/strong\u003e as they invented their world-shaking take on the art of DJing at the Bronx block parties of the ‘70s.
