Blazing out of high school obscurity to the top of the charts, The Arctic Monkeys built a huge internet following before releasing their first full-length album in 2006. Whatever People Say I Am, That’s What I Am Not was a huge hit, topping the charts in the UK. and climbing to #24 on the Billboard 200 in the US. It won the Mercury Music Prize and had hits with “I Bet You Look Good On The Dancefloor” and “When The Sun Goes Down.”
